Her smile is genuine
But not as seductive as a temptress.

Her sapphire eyes are bright
But not as happy as they were in youth.

Her hair burns fire red with the light of the sun
But it isn't as soft as silk.

She's so very pretty when you look only at her
But by comparison she fades into oblivion.

If you look for her faults, you'll find them
But don't count as faults the things that make her different from those in your past.

Don't try to make her into something else
If you do, then you don't deserve her in the first place.

Take her just as she is and you'll be happy
And more importantly, she will be too.
